Batch No.: BVMG-0126
Mfg. Date: June 2026
Expiry Date: May 2028

VitSupp Magnesium is formulated using magnesium bisglycinate chelate. Below you can review the independent finished-product test reports, manufacturer Certificate of Analysis, and raw-material documentation associated with this product and batch.

1) All Independent Lab Reports (Equinox Labs)

The finished VitSupp Magnesium Bisglycinate capsules were submitted to Equinox Labs for independent testing.

Testing covers elemental magnesium content, heavy metals, microbiological parameters, aflatoxins and capsule disintegration.

1. Elemental Magnesium Assay›

What was tested:
Elemental magnesium content in the finished VitSupp Magnesium Bisglycinate capsules.

Result:
12.0% elemental magnesium

Method:
Titrimetric Method

The test was performed on the finished-product sample for Batch BVMG-0126.

Why We Test This

A magnesium supplement should not be evaluated only by the name of the magnesium compound used. The amount of elemental magnesium present is an important part of understanding what the finished product actually contains.

For this reason, we independently tested the finished capsules for elemental magnesium rather than relying only on the raw-material documentation supplied to us.

2. Heavy Metals Screening ›

What Was Tested:

  • Lead
  • Arsenic
  • Cadmium
  • Copper
  • Mercury
  • Tin
  • Methyl Mercury

The tested parameters were reported as conforming to the applicable FSSAI limits stated in the report.

Why We Test This

Testing the finished product for heavy metals provides an additional quality check beyond relying solely on individual ingredient certificates.

The analysis includes metals such as lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury, with results compared against the limits stated in the laboratory report.

3. Microbial Safety Screening ›

The finished capsules were independently tested for:

  • Total Bacterial Count
  • Coliform
  • E. coli
  • Staphylococcus aureus
  • Salmonella
  • Shigella
  • Enterobacteriaceae
  • Yeast
  • Mold

The Equinox report states that the tested food sample conforms to the FSSAI limits for the tested parameters.

Why We Test This

Microbiological testing checks the finished product for specified microorganisms and indicators of microbial contamination.

We test the finished capsules, not just the individual raw materials, because this provides information about the product after manufacturing and encapsulation.

4. Aflatoxins Screening ›

The finished product was tested for:

Aflatoxin B1: <0.5 µg/kg
Aflatoxin B2: <0.5 µg/kg
Aflatoxin G1: <0.5 µg/kg
Aflatoxin G2: <0.5 µg/kg

Why We Test This

Aflatoxins are naturally occurring contaminants produced by certain molds.

Testing provides an additional contaminant check on the finished supplement rather than relying exclusively on supplier documentation for individual ingredients.

5. Capsule Disintegration ›

Result: 25 minutes

The finished VitSupp Magnesium Bisglycinate capsule was tested using a disintegration instrument and recorded a disintegration time of 25 minutes under the laboratory test conditions.

Why We Test This

A disintegration test measures how long a capsule takes to break apart under defined laboratory conditions.

It is an important physical quality parameter for the finished capsule.

2) Product & Ingredient Reports

Independent finished-product testing is only one part of our documentation.

We also maintain documentation for the finished product and the individual materials used to manufacture VitSupp Magnesium Bisglycinate.

1. Finished Product Certificate of Analysis ›

Issued by: Bliss Lifesciences LLP

The manufacturer’s Certificate of Analysis for VitSupp Magnesium Bisglycinate covers parameters including:

  • Appearance
  • Average capsule weight
  • Moisture content
  • Solubility
  • pH
  • Magnesium Bisglycinate
  • Chelate
  • Elemental Magnesium
  • Heavy metals
  • Microbiological parameters

The COA identifies the finished-product batch as BVMB-0126, manufactured June 2026 and expiring May 2028.

Why This Document Matters

The manufacturer’s COA provides the batch-release quality information generated by the manufacturing facility.

We retain this alongside our independent third-party laboratory reports so that the manufacturer’s quality documentation and independent testing can both be reviewed.

2. Magnesium Bisglycinate Raw Material Analytical Report ›

This is the analytical documentation for the Magnesium Bisglycinate (Chelated) raw material supplied for manufacturing.

The report includes testing for:

  • Identity
  • Magnesium content
  • Glycine
  • Loss on drying
  • Residual solvent
  • Lead
  • Arsenic
  • Cadmium
  • Mercury
  • Related compounds and impurities

The raw-material report records magnesium content at 12.79% and glycine at 82.58% for the tested raw-material batch.

Why This Document Matters

The finished-product elemental magnesium assay tells us about the completed capsules.

The raw-material analytical report provides a separate layer of documentation concerning the magnesium ingredient before it becomes part of the finished product.

Together, these documents provide greater traceability from ingredient to finished capsule.

3. Vegetarian HPMC Capsule Certificate of Analysis ›

VitSupp Magnesium uses Size 00 HPMC capsule shells.

The capsule supplier’s Certificate of Analysis identifies the product as Hard Cellulose Capsule Shells IP and includes HPMC identification, physical parameters, safety parameters and microbiological testing.

The supplier documentation also states:

No Ethylene Oxide Treatment
No Irradiation Treatment
No Added Preservatives

Why This Document Matters

Transparency shouldn’t stop with the active ingredient.

The capsule itself is part of the product you consume, which is why we also make its quality documentation available.

4. Microcrystalline Cellulose Certificate of Analysis ›

Where required for manufacturing, VitSupp Magnesium uses microcrystalline cellulose (MCC).

The supplier COA covers identity, purity, loss on drying, assay, heavy metals and microbiological parameters.

Why This Document Matters

We believe consumers should be able to see documentation not only for the primary active ingredient, but also for other materials used in the formulation.

Our Approach to Supplement Transparency

A label tells you what a supplement claims to contain.

Testing and documentation let you see more of the evidence behind it.

That’s why for VitSupp Magnesium we maintain documentation at multiple levels:

Raw Material → Manufacturing → Finished Product COA → Independent Finished-Product Testing

Our goal is simple: don’t just ask consumers to trust the label. Give them access to the documents behind the product.
