Why did VitSupp start as an education platform before selling products?
VitSupp began as an education platform because we wanted to bring clarity in an area crowded by confusion and misinformation. Wherever we looked, we saw the same problems- people being confused about multiple supplements, being unsure about dosage, proprietary formulas hiding real ingredients, and a lack of clarity about how safe the products were. So VitSupp decided to build on its knowledge and expertise, and tried to come up with a solution- in the form of supplements that are clean, effective, science-first, and built on clarity rather than marketing hype.
What did VitSupp learn in its 11 years of health education?
The one thing that we learnt from our 11 years of health education is that people are overwhelmed and confused by all the options available to them for supplementation. Hidden blends, multiple formats, unclear science, confusing jargon and marketing hype have created an environment where takers are always second-guessing themselves, and often end up choosing supplements that are ineffective.
But we also learnt what the right and most absorbable forms of each nutrient are. And we have used that knowledge to create clean and effective supplements that are safe for sustained use.
What made them finally decide to create supplements?
During the COVID-19 pandemic, VitSupp’s founder was hospitalized due to multiple nutritional deficiencies. Finding the right supplements became a challenge because there were just so many confusing options. Most of them were ineffective because the forms were not bioavailable or cofactor complete. Importing products became the only option. This experience changed everything. We decided to build what we couldn’t find- and vowed to do it in a clean, efficient, science-first manner.
